AFMC and PDAP are producing the series For The Culture Tampa Bay. Episode 1: In the Mix with Jabaar Edmond, Filmmaker, and Activist, interviews Edmond as he shares history on the Gas Plant neighborhood and Tropicana Field. He discusses the historic erasure of a community that existed there prior to the ball field’s construction, and current work around the “Smell Something, Say Something” campaign to bring environmental justice to the Childs Park neighborhood, which sits across from a fuel recycling plant.
